so, stephen harper finally replaced rona ambrose as minister of the environment. i would feel bad for her, because i do feel that she's been made the scapegoat of the conservatives misjudgment on how much we canadians care about the environment. however, i don't feel bad. one, she's made a lot of stupid mistakes in parliament (which i've previously blogged about) that she has to take responsibility for. and two, from what i gather, she's been a total yes 'man' in that position. if you don't speak your mind, you deserve what you get.
and now that the conservatives have decided that the environment is an important issue, god forbid they would leave a woman in charge of it.

i get upset with word verfication when i'm on my own blog. i don't think i should have to do it!
No kidding. I haven't had problems since eliminating it but I saw Alana's site when she was having problems. I start getting that junk and I'm putting it back on in a nanosecond!
i'm thinking about removing it. but everytime i do, i get a crap load of spam.
It's less annoying than getting spam. It is weird how you have to do it when it's your blog though.
