so, today is quite the day of events. it is mr. stroumboulopoulos' birthday. to who i of course wish a happy birthday to. according to articles i've read, he was thinking of spending the day visiting the graves of robert johnson and elvis presley. this makes me jealous on so many levels.
besides mr. stroumboulopoulos, here is a small sample of things that happened today in history.
it is a day of deaths. elvis. robert johnson. nusrat fateh ali khan. bela lugosi. idi amin.
it is a day of births. madonna. ll cool j. belinda carlisle. maria mckee. charles bukowski.
and it is a day of firsts. the ramones played their first concert at CBGB's. it may have been their first concert ever but i am reading conflicting information on this.
and it is a good friend of mine's birthday as well. which is why a lot of these facts came up.
