baby it's cold outside....

actually it's cold inside. i have hot water now, but no heat!

i called up the place that fixed our hot water tank, and the extremely nice girl said, is this an emergency? well, i'm cold, but i guess i'll live. and then she says, just don't open any windows. umm, yah, wasn't really planning too, since it's fucking snowing out!

i am going to do some laundry just so i can use the dryer to heat up the house a little. and the dog will definately be sleeping in my bed tonight. see, this is the difference between cats and dogs. i remember on the hour when mr. stroumboulopoulos said he had no heat, and his cats wouldn't come near him. dogs are so less fussy!

Don't open your windows! Now there's advice not worth having. Today the Times Colonist printed a list of helpful suggestions to combat the cold. Number 1 was dress warm. Ya think!

Hope the heat gets up and running soon. Being cold is just nasty.

yay! i have heat! turns out i was right, the plumber turned off our furnace when he was fixing the hot water tank and forgot to turn it back on.

thank god, because we couldn't get anyone out until tuesday!

Is this lady dumb or what? don't open any windows, what an advice!

And some cats love to sleep in your bed when you are freezing, at least mine does and i like it... except when she decides that i need a scarf and that she will be the scarf... that's not so cool!

Oh maaaan! Those darn plumbers eh? haha. Im glad you are all warm now! I spent the day at work with cold wet socks. I even took them off and tried drying them, but it was too cold, so all it did was make them colder so then I had to put them back on *teeth chattering at the thought* I even brought an extra pair. Oh well. I really have to find a good pair of rain boots soon! Geesh, sorry for using your comment space as a bitching post *G*

So glad to hear you've got heat again. I thought you were going to have to open all the window or something!
