they did the mash...

saturday i was out celebrating halloween. we started out at the parade of lost souls festivities off of commerical drive. we didn't make the actual parade but i like the walking around part better anyways. i love seeing how people decorate their houses and yards etc. and seeing all the costumes of the people walking around. i wore part of my devil costume out.

one of my favourites was the place that had all these ninjas hiding in the bushes that would pop out and then run away. the ninjas were below this window but were darn stubborn about when they would appear!

this was our favourite house. the eyes are such a great idea and probably wouldn't be that hard or expensive to do.

this is their front yard.

these are just some fun skeletons i liked.

we then went back and changed into full costume and headed down to the lamplighter for a night of burlesque. here is the best halloween themed burlesque performance...:)

sorry the pics aren't the best. i had to resize them smaller than usual as blogger is being very difficult lately with pics.

At least Blogger is letting you post pics. It must like you way better than it likes me.

I love the house with the eyes. Brilliant but simple idea!

Cool pics. I always love seeing people you get into the spirit, via decoration. I can tolerate Hallowe'en stuff more than Christmas lights for some reason.

I love that house with those eyes, that's amazing... and i guess that now all those scary decorations will become Christmas stuff...

i'm not sure if i've ever caught the parade.. haha.. but it's definately worth going to, just to walk around. i think this year was my favourite. it didn't seem as jam packed as years before. there were lots of people, but you could actually move around.

i use the term ninja all the time (i actually use it as a verb),so they were my favourite.

i was down in seattle a couple of weeks ago and couldn't believe the amount of xmas stuff already. my friend ran away screaming....:)

i really think you should not be able to sell one holiday until the next one is over.
